Blogging - Improve Client Communication

Communication with your clients can be a hands on job, so much so that you may find the need to employ people that specialize in blogging and social media just to get ahead in this task. But it is not entirely that hard if you have a step by step plan that you follow.
We will start with blogging. The concept of starting a blog for your business is a daunting concept to most people, and tends to get them running in the opposite direction just at thought of it. But it definitely doesn't need to be this way.
There are a few steps that I follow when approaching a new blog or maintaining an existing one.
Steps:
1. Choosing whether to use a blog platform or your own domain
Whether to use a blogging platform or your own domain really depends on whether you want to go with a system that is maintained by somebody else (a blogging platform) a self maintained system (Your own website). Using a blogging platform will provide you with -
Stability - more up time
Ease of use
More options
Lower cost
Easier SEO setup
Hosting with your own domain requires more knowledge and time. So unless you have the knowledge and a company budget to host your own blog, using a platform is maybe the better option for you, especially if you are a beginner.
2. Which platform should I use?
The choice is virtually endless when it comes to blogging platforms. Here are a few to consider -

3. How often should I blog?
This depends entirely on the type of blogger you are and what the blogs purpose is. If you are blogging for a business where you need to engage with clients and readers on a daily basis, then you might want to blog at least twice to three times every week. This will allow you to increase reader engagement and help keep your readers entertained. On the other hand, if you are an individual blogger, you may want to blog once or twice a week. This way you are able to ensure the quality of information you are blogging about.
4. Increasing followers and readers
SEO is very important with regards to blogging. Your main goal as a blogger will be to provide useful and accurate information, but your second and equally important goal will be to become a master of SEO. Getting your Blog to rank at the top of Google is worth its weight in gold, so to speak, and will either make or break you, depending on how well you speak SEO.
There are many different levels of SEO, so I will list a few -
Organic SEO - This is where search engines crawl your site or blog looking for keywords to index on the search engine. But relying entirely on organic SEO to rank your blog is not the only method to use, as it is way too competitive out there to get a top ranking or even a first page ranking. That's not to say that blog organics are not important. Site organics are very important but they are not the only method, but merely one brick in the SEO wall.
Paid SEO Marketing - Digital Marking firms offer SEO marketing services. Which is where they write articles and other publications that link back to your blog, which will convince the Google bots and other search bots that your blog is worthy of ranking higher in their search results for your keywords. This is a very costly service, some would even call it highway robbery.
University Graduate provided SEO - Another option is to find a University Graduate Specializing in digital marketing. This will give you a less costly outcome for your SEO needs and it will provide the graduate with much needed experience in their field.
SEO Submission software - I use this option, as it cost much less over time and I achieve results equal to the other methods. The software works the same way as the other options. SEO software copies your blog posts, spins the articles so that they are different to the original article but with the same meaning, it then submits the altered posts to search engines and continues doing so.
